SVQ qualifications
SVQ 2 Social Services (Children & Young People) Award at SCQF level 6
The Level 2 SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) Award SCQF level 6 consists of 4 mandatory Units and 2 optional Units.
It is a requirement by the SSSC that everyone employed in this capacity should be working towards achievement of this qualification. This SVQ is suitable for:

individuals who are currently in employment and who wish to obtain a formal qualification.

people who are practitioners in early years settings and or residential/ day care/ community care for children and young people.
Access
Entry is at the discretion of the centre.
Candidates should be in a job or placement where they are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities which allow them to gather the required evidence
